Digi Day and more things to share

Just wanted to remind you all to pick up your image for our Digi Day challenge over at our SNR group on Thursday 10th December. It doesn't have to be anything to complicated!! I made this little box above and covered it with gold paint and glitter. Then I printed out the image 4 times, cut it out and adhered it to the box with some foam dots. Add a ribbon to the top. What a quick way to make a pretty ornament!!

Also thought I would share some of the things I made with the new Christmas Toppers images. I used the color set and made a journal and 4 matching tags.

Pretty papers, ribbon and some embellishments quicly turn a plain journal into something so cute!!

Digital Delights Christmas Sale, A New Release and some creations!!

Digital Delights also have a new set of "Christmas Toppers", which as always I had a lot of fun illustrating.  What's great about this set is that they come in either black and white where you color them or you can buy a pre-colored set which I think is just fantastic at this time of year when we are all so busy but still want to send out our handmade gifts!!
Below are some things I have made with the colored set!!

I just adore these Easel cards. They are so pretty to display as well as being able to write your own personal message in!! I used the pre colored Santa Topper and the Digital Delights sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment Set.

I added foam dots to the back of Santa to make him stand out!!

I also entered this card into Caardvarks Challenge where their requirements was to use something Digital on your card!! So my illustrations covered that!!

Ornament or gift card (opens up so you can leave a message inside) using elf topper. I used the Christmas sentiment set and trimmed it down a bit to fit the elf. This one I entered into the No Time to Stamp Challenge as it fit their tag requirement!!

Another Easel card using the Snowman Topper. I found some great snowman paper by My Minds Eye and thought it looked great in the backrground!! I also used Digital Delights Christmas Sentiment set

I entered this into the Stamp Something Challenge where they wanted something Glitzy!! So my abundance of stickles and pink crystals covered thi too!!

Ornament or gift card using Reindeer topper. Again I used the Christmas sentiment set from Digital Delights but trimmed to sentiment around the outside so I just had th circle of reindeers!!

Skiing Pippin Card and Journal set

Wow I didn't realize I hadn't posted anything here in almost a week!!

I made this card and diary set using Skiin Pippin. Image is one of my November releases from Digital Delights

Pippins coat and hat has LOTS of stickles on it and is very sparkly. I also found these great HUGE red crytals, which I added to each corner.

I decided to make a coordinating 2010 diary to go with the card!!

Things to share

Thought I would share with you today a couple of things I had been working on!

The first was this mini mailbox, which I decorated. I then made 4 matching little gift tags to fit inside. The image on the gift tags is "Let you Light Shine Pippin" and you can get him from Digital Delights.

My second creation was this double scrapbook layout!! I was talking with a friend the other day about making tear bears!! and it got me thinking I hadn't made any for the longest time so I decided to make a Christmas layout using them!!

The first page features Mommy and her little boy in his PJ's along with a paper pieced fireplace with stockings galore!!

The second page features Santa and his sack of toys. I made him a big comfy armchair to sit in. His sack of holds a paper pieced Teddy, candy cane, basketball and rag doll (with real rag doll hair!!) There is also a paper pieced tree with string lights and a little peek a boo girl at the top of the photo mat!!
