Wishing & Hoping Fishing Boy Handmade Card

Finally managed to get time to list this one. This has to be one of my favorites so far, I love the way it turned out. As I said previously a lot more stitching and layers. I found some great paper that has wave patterns which I enhance with some stitching. The little boy (stamp unknown) has been duplicated three times to create a great dimension. He is glazed and the fishing line is made out of thin gold wire. I added the little seahorses to the inside of the card. Look like they are jumping out of the waves. Let me know if you like this one. Have a great weekend and Happy Labor Day.

Another Busy Week

Wow, this week has flown by and I am sure the weekend will fly even quicker, especially as it is a holiday weekend. I am getting real excited as my family are flying in from Scotland next week for 3 weeks. Needless to say I wont be posting quite as much. The good news is I have been working on a few cards and they have turned out great, have added lots more stitching to them, more layers and my new Cricut has given me endless possibilities. Will try to post some tomorrow. I have the new ones posted earlier this week on sale at www.darling delights.com, so go check them out, definitely much better than a store bought card. Have a great evening and talk with you all tomorrow.

Boo in the Boiling Pot

Decided to try something a little different. No stamps on card!! Well OK the envelope is stamped on the front saying"Happy Halloween". Everything is cut either die cut or hand cut. Hand stitching with layers, over 10 layers!! the witch and vampire are glazed. I made a cute little envelope in the lower corner and added the spider and word"BOO" I had a lot of fun making this one and hope you enjoy it. Will list along with the one below in the next few days.

Watching Over You

OK, Apologies, I didn't get these posted earlier, been a crazy day. Not sure who the stamp is by bu hand colored using Prismas and stickles added. Lots of great hand stitching, including rows of flowers on either side of angel. Wonderful blue grey velvet ribbon sits at top and bottom. Trim includes a little frame that says "love you" all over it" and I have trimmed it with a little silver heart which has a small "lock" in the center. Two purple ribbons with small buds in the center adorn the top side of the angel. As always, lots of layers, 3d and coordinating inside. I think this would be really pretty in a frame. Will be listing this one and the one up on my site "www.darlingdelights.com / EBAY in the next couple of days. Have a wonderful evening.

Precious Moments "Hey There"

Almost Completely monochromatic design. Papers are from DCWV and are wonderful in texture and glitter. Boy is colored with Prismacolors and is all grey and blacks except for the little flower which is bright red. A little movable tag at top reads "Hey There". A must for any Precious Moments lover. Again this one will be up for auction starting the 25th August at 6:00 p.m.

HUGE Santa Shaker Humbug

I just think this card is great and so much fun. The shaker is really big and filled with lots of silver and red glitter. I added extra snowflakes round Santa's jacket. Embossed the background with Cuttle Bugs new Christmas template. Machine stitched the border with what reminds me of a pine tree design. Added Christmas ribbon to the bottom. I can't stop shaking it!! This one will be posted on the 25th August at 6:00 p.m.

Got Paint, Happy Handy Boy

I decided to stay with primary colors for this card, not sure who the stamp is by but doesn't he look so cute. His head and paintbrush are dimensional and glossy accents are added to various parts of him. Added buttons for embellishments and added the sentiment "Got paint?" Envelope was made using my new Cricut which gives a much more professional finish rather than hand cut.

Sarah Kay "Love You Always"

Great Sarah Kay design which I got from Sweet n Sassy stamps. This card kinda reminds me of Holly Hobby, which was a really biggy in my day. Lots of layers to this one and some really great coordinating stitching. Colored using Prismacolors and blended using prismacolor pencil. Embellishments include flowers, ribbon and glass beads. Isn't she adorable. This & the next one are scheduled for sale on the 22nd at 6:00p.m., so keep a look out for them.

Rachelle Anne Miller Designs

When I got back I had some stamps waiting for me and one of them was this fabulous design by Rachelle Anne Miller. Her designs are so cute. I stamped her twice and popped the whole image, colored with markers and glazed her hair, shoes and cart wheels. I added a little glass bead for the lollipop. Also found some fabulous ribbon which has a raised effected and has glitter on it. What a little cutie!!

Witching Hour Halloween Store

Been trying really hard to work on some cards today and came up with this. On my travels I found some really great Halloween accessories, so I couldn't wait to try some. I made this one look like a store window. Stamped the witch, colored and popped her face. The windows front was made using Cricut. The little bats I made using pipe cleaners and added stickles for their eyes. They dangle from the store on pieces of embroidery floss. I added the Happy Halloween Orange ribbon at the bottom and stamped the sentiment witching hour. Hope you like it!!

I'm Back

Hi there,

For those of you who have been wondering where I've been lately, well I have been on vacation and had a fab time. Travelled all the way from Houston to West Virginia and stopped on the way back through Tennessee, visiting Nashville & Graceland.
Anyway now that I am back I am furiously trying to work on some cards and should have some posted within the next couple of days, so keep a close watch. Have a great evening!!

Oh yeah, stocked up with new supplies whilst on the road, including the new Cricut Expression, lots of new stamps and papers too, can't wait to try everything out!!
