I received some new Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps today, they are just darling. I decide that I would use the little cherub image and make a card similar to the red vintage valentine I made a few days ago.

Heavily layered, stitched card with a nostalgic look
Pretty pearls and darling little cherub which has been heat embossed, colored with COPICS and lots of sparkles on her wings. Lots of embellishments and coordinating inside
Card is 6 x 6 and comes with matching box envelope

Butterfly Love - CPS/CardMaker Sketch - CPS # 100

I just came across a site today called "Card Positioning Systems" and decided to participate in their contest

This is what came up with using their sketch

Card measures 6 x 6 complete with box envelope, lots of details. Hand stamped image has been heat embossed and colored with Copic markers. Little pearls make the butterfly look like they are flying away. Metallic glittered love sentiment.

Supplies: Bazzill Basics Card stock, Papers by Anne Griffin and K & Co (Florence Glitter Vellum), Stamp by Penny Black "Hugs", Fiskars "Seagull" punch, Copic Markers, Paper Studio Flowers, Splendor Pigment Ink, Colorbok metal adhesive words, Ribbon from stash, Pearl brads, flat back pearls and eyelets.

Hi there, hope you are all having a great day. It sure got warm here today, almost 80 degrees which is a nice change from being cold!!

SIMON SAYS STAMP EXCLUSIVE CLEAR STAMPS - Design No1

This is the first in a series of 5 designs that I am creating for Simon Says Stamp
What a cute little bird wishing you a happy Hi and Hello.

Card has lots of layers which has some really pretty stitching. I counted on the front 11 (ELEVEN LAYERS) I have also used a little flower punch throughout the card. Bird and butterfly have been hand stamped, heat embossed with lavender glitter. I used my Copics to color them, made the little bird 3D and used gamsol on the background. Coordinating ribbon and glitter to complete.

Mardi Gras Card

Hope you have all had a great couple of days. I am at the moment trying to get some organiztion in what has lovingly become known as my Scroffice!! (Scrapbooking / Office)

FLASHING LIGHT VALENTINE

I decided to do something different, I had this cute flashing heart pin and thought I could incorporate it in my design? What do you thin? The recipient gets not only a card but a little pin to wear also. Lots of glitter and cut outs. Lots of layers and stitching as always. Hope you like it.

VINTAGE PUPPY VALENTINE SHAKER CARD

Spoonful of Sugar Challenge #36 This one is for a challenge for the KDT team, we were asked to create a valentine with a vintage theme.

I decided to make the little puppy look like he was soaring away. The shakers are the balloons!! I also created his little basket with ribbons and wove them together. The card has some pretty stitching both inside and out. A little angel charm hand from the front of the balloon strings.

I also made a coordinating box to ensure that the card will stay safe for many years to come.

I'm back with a vengance

Well I know it has been way too long but here I am ready to go. I had a fabulous time with my mom and family who were over from Scotland for 5 weeks. Now I am ready for new cards. Lots of new Xmas prezzies to use, my favorites being a set of 72 COPIC markers and a light studio!!

I also received some fabulous news from a wonderful stamp/scrapbook Company. The Company is called "Simon Says Stamp". They have chosen me to be one of their Design Team Members for Winter 2009. Click on their link under my favorite sites to go see their fantastic items they have. I will keep you all posted once I get more information from them.
