Exciting news and a nativity scene

I am so excited to share with you all that I am now part of the super talented EBAY group Candy Sweet Paper Treats...........

I also want to share with you today a card I made using the new Nativity set, A Child is Born, from Digital Delights

I made a little scene with all the characters and then decided that it needed something deeper than an evelope to hold it, so I created this box and decorated it. Box has a blue acetate window so you can see the card through the box. I also airbrushed the card background.
All DD Stamps Used: A Childis Born nativity set (pre colored)
CS and Papers: Bazzill, DCWV Glitter cardstock, MME Wonderful Winter Glitter Cardstock
Ink: None
Markers: None
Access and Embellishments: Stickles, Champagne Dew Drops, Dazzlers Snowflakes, snowflake brads, silver ribbon, blue acetate, sewing machine, foam dots
Special techniques: Decoupage

Penny goes caroling

I definitely think my favorite card making time has gotta be Halloween and Christmas. I made this easel card using Caroling Penny from Digital Delights. I went with a mini scene and machine stitched some snowy hills in the background

Trick or Treat


Time for another "weenie" layout.  This time I used these cute little Trick or Treaters from My Scrap Chick. How cute are they and I had so much fun piecing them together and adding their features!! Scene piecings were put together using my Cricut

Delightful Piecings, Cards and some challenges

Digital Delights introduce a new line of Delightful Piecings today. These are paper patterns that are designed to be used with your cutting machines or if you don't own a cutting machine (such as Cricut), then there is also a version to hand cut them!!
